Construction
Peerless' Ultrafan-Pak 2002 FCB series is designed to serve high quality, low cost, heavy-duty applications requiring a fully self-contained fan assembly.
Wheel
Identical forward curve blades are die-formed and machine riveted to a precision die-punched, heavy-duty backplate and support rim.
Inlet
For low-turbulence inlet airflow and balanced rotation, our inlet cones are stamped or rolled from single sheets, free of seams and welds.
Housing
All fan housings can be fully rotated to reposition the discharge at any of eight pre-drilled 45° intervals, allowing for a wide range of installation and ducting configurations.
Frame
Indoor/outdoor, formed member heavy gage steel frames keep motors, drivetrains, and wheels in alignment, resulting in longer maintenance intervals.
Drive System
Adjustable or fixed V-belt drive with cast iron adjustable pitch sheaves, heavy-duty motor base rails, ground, and polished keyed shafts, and motors are fixed-mounted onto a welded base frame.

Weather Cover
The solid sheet metal Weather Cover installs over the belt drive and motor frame, offering weather protection without the need of a separately constructed penthouse or canopy.
Belt Guard
Our heavy-duty Belt Guard is fabricated from expanded metal and installed over the V-belt drive end of the fan, providing personnel protection from the drive's moving parts.
Automatic Outlet Damper
Protecting the fan from backdrafts, rain, and snow, our corrosion-resistant Outlet Damper securely attaches to the fan outlet. Choose from automatic, motorized, or manual operation. Outlet dampers are not available with mesh screens.
Access Doors
For easy inspection and cleaning, bolted Access Doors can be provided around the perimeter of the fan housing. Our gasketed doors can be provided with bolted or quick-release clamp hardware.
Vibration Rails
For sound and vibration sensitive applications, Peerless can provide spring or rubber-in-shear Vibration Isolation Rails and Isolation Pads.
Spark Resistance
For applications where hazardous gases or other ignitable conditions exist, Peerless offers fully Spark-Resistant Construction and explosion-proof motors per AMCA Spark A, B, and C hazard classifications.
Motors
Peerless can provide nearly any special motor specification, including multi-speed windings, stainless steel casings, washdown and other environmental ratings, inverter duty, explosion proof, IEC and other frame sizes, and more.
