Construction
Peerless' Plug-Pak Fan PG series is your choice for long life, easily maintainable, quiet, custom plug/plenum or air handling ventilation applications.
Wheel
Our high-efficiency "Peerless" wheel design features precision-fabricated impeller blades/foils that are fully welded to a spun wheel cone, balanced against a CNC laser-cut backplate and cast-iron hub.
Inlet
For low-turbulence inlet airflow and balanced rotation, our inlet cones are stamped or rolled from single sheets, free of seams and welds.
Frame
Indoor, open-member steel frames keep motors, drivetrains, and wheels in alignment longer than formed sheet frames, resulting in longer maintenance intervals.
Open Design
Open plug fans are designed for installation into existing field-erected or factory-built air handling units or plenum systems, pressurizing the air plenum in which the fan operates directly.
Drive System
Features a V-Belt drive with cast iron adjustable pitch sheaves, heavy-duty motor base rails, ground and polished keyed shafts, and self-aligning heavy-duty bearings.

AMCA Arrangement 9 SWSI utilizes dual bearings mounted on a base frame, with an overhung fan impeller for use with belt drives. The motor is mounted outside of the frame or pedestal.

High-Temperature Upgrade
Standard construction is rated up to 180°F. For higher temperatures, Peerless can add insulation, a heat slinger, high-temp bearings, and high-temp coatings to reach 300°F, 400°F, and 800°F design points.
Belt Guard
Our heavy-duty Belt Guard is fabricated from expanded metal and installed over the V-belt drive end of the fan, providing personnel protection from the drive's moving parts.
Vertical Mount
For applications where a vertical fan orientation is preferred, this option can be selected to suit a roof-mount or similar application.
