AMCA Arrangement 3 and 4 SWSI: Single Width Single Inlet.

Steel Backward Inclined Non-Overloading Wheel. Diameters 15" to 49". Steel Flat Blade Wheel up to 16,967 CFM and 7" SP (up to Model PL245). Steel Airfoil Wheel up to 57,960 CFM and 8" SP (Model PL270 and above).

Drive

By Arrangement, Direct Drive or Fixed/Adjustable Pitch V-Belt Sheave Drive. Premium Efficiency, 120 to 480VAC Single or Three Phase, NEMA Enclosure and Frame Size Motors.

Temperatures

Steel Wheel: 300°F max at full airflow capacity, 600°F max at 85% derated capacity. Aluminum Wheel option: 150°F max at full airflow capacity, 250°F max at 80% derated capacity.

Construction

Reinforced structural frames, all-weather resistant finishes, and fully balanced wheels are just a few of the many features included in Peerless' Plenum Fan PL series.

Wheel

Our high-efficiency "Peerless" wheel design features precision-fabricated impeller blades/foils that are fully welded to a spun wheel cone, balanced against a CNC laser-cut backplate and cast-iron hub.

Inlet

Arrangements

Peerless' Plenum Fan PL series is available in Arrangement 3 and 4 SWSI.

Arrangement 3 SWSI

AMCA Arrangement 3 SWSI utilizes one bearing on either side of the fan impeller (two bearings total), for use with belt driven units. Motor positions W, X, Y, and Z are available. Motor supports can be provided in the field or at the factory.

V-Belt Drive with Fully Supported Impeller.
SWSI Type: Single Width Single Inlet.
Normal Duty, 100k Run Hour Bearings.
Remote Mounted Motor.

Arrangement 4 SWSI

AMCA Arrangement 4 SWSI utilizes a direct-drive motor mounted onto a base frame. The fan impeller is overhung on the motor shaft and does not need separate bearings.

Direct Drive with Overhung Impeller.
SWSI Type: Single Width Single Inlet.
No Bearings on Fan.
Onboard Motor.

Radial Inlet Vane

Radial Inlet Vanes smooth airflow turbulence, reduce noise, and improve fan performance. External duct vanes are provided on PL150 to PL245, and nested vanes on PL270 and above.

Safety Enclosure

For additional personnel and fan protection, an optional safety screen enclosure can be provided around the entirety of the impeller.

Vertical Mount

For applications where a vertical fan orientation is preferred, this option reconfigures the drive, motor support, impeller bearings, and shaft connection for optimal performance.
