Centrifan C
Construction
Heavy-gauge steel, reinforced motor and bearing supports, and precision-fabricated components make Peerless' Centrifan C a reliable, long-life solution, with novel performance benefits unique in the industry.
Wheel
Our high-efficiency "Peerless" wheel design features precision-fabricated impeller blades/foils that are fully welded to a spun wheel cone, balanced against a CNC laser-cut backplate and cast-iron hub.
Conversion Vanes
Unique aerodynamically-designed conversion vane system straightens airflow as it exits the fan housing, virtually eliminating turbulence and vastly minimizing noise. Not available on Model C1050 due to size limitations - can be added to discharge ducting.
Housing
Compact tubular, inline housing design allows for 'any orientation, any position' installation, saves space, and eliminates the need for ducting turns and transitions.
Motor Positions
Designed to be installation and maintenance friendly, the centrifugal inline fan has 5 motor mounting location options around the housing, and 2 additional frame-mounted options when configured in Arrangement 1.
Drive System
Configure as either an adjustable pitch V-belt or direct drive, with heavy-duty motor base rails, ground and polished keyed shafts, and self-aligning normal duty bearings.
Centrifan C
Arrangements
Peerless' Centrifan C is available in Tubular Fan Arrangement 1, 4, and 9.
Arrangement 1 Tubular
AMCA Tubular Arrangement 1 utilizes a V-Belt drive motor mounted to an integral base that also supports the fan housing. Intended for horizontal mounting.
Arrangement 4 Tubular
AMCA Tubular Arrangement 4 employs a direct drive and overhung impeller attached to the motor shaft, with no external bearings. Intended for horizontal or vertical, floor or ceiling mounting.
Arrangement 9 Tubular
AMCA Tubular Arrangement 9 mounts the motor directly to the fan casing (housing), using a V-Belt drive motor. Intended for horizontal or vertical, and floor, ceiling, or wall mounting.
Centrifan C
Options
Peerless' Centrifan C series offers multiple performance, safety, and reliability-enhancing options which can be configured at the factory or added to existing units in the field.
Radial Inlet Vane
Radial Inlet Vanes smooth airflow turbulence, reduce noise, and improve fan performance. Nested vanes can be installed into the inlet cones of models C2700 and up. Duct-type vanes are standard on models C1050 to C2450.
Weather Cover
The solid sheet metal Weather Cover installs over the belt drive and motor frame, offering weather protection without the need of a separately constructed penthouse or canopy.
Belt Guard
Our heavy-duty Belt Guard is fabricated from solid sheet or expanded metal and installed over the V-belt drive, providing personnel protection from the drive's moving parts.
Roof Fan
Inline centrifugal fan models C1220 through C4900 can be configured for Roof Mounting by using a roof curb cap and stack hood with a built-in butterfly damper.
Ultra-Swing Fan
Configured for simple, immediate inspection access, the Ultra-Swing Fan option adds housing hinges and side latches to swing open the shell for full view of all internal components.
Safety Screen
For applications where either the inlet or outlet are not ducted away, a Safety Screen constructed of heavy gauge metal wire mesh can be added to protect against objects entering the housing.
Clean-Out Doors
For easy inspection and cleaning, bolted Clean-Out Doors can be provided around the perimeter of the fan housing. Our gasketed doors can be provided with bolted or quick-release hardware.
Spark Resistance
For applications where hazardous gases or other ignitable conditions exist, Peerless offers fully spark-resistant construction and explosion-proof motors per AMCA Spark A, B, and C hazard classifications.
Motors
Peerless can provide nearly any special motor specification, including multi-speed windings, stainless steel casings, washdown and other environmental ratings, inverter duty, explosion proof, IEC and other frame sizes, and more.
Other Accessories
Additional Peerless Inline Centrifugal Fan options include multiple paint and finish options, custom mounting, bearing upgrades, and more!
